Challenges are in-game objective first featured in Halo: Reach and then reappeared in Halo 4. After completing a challenge's requirements, a designated amount of credits or experiences points are rewarded to the player. Challenges are one of the main methods of gaining experience points for the player to rise up in their in-game ranks.
