He serves as the UNSC Infinity's chief engineer[1] under the command of Captain Andrew Del Rio and later Captain Thomas Lasky. In 2558, Fireteam Crimson secured a Forerunner artifact and brought it back to the Infinity. Shortly after being brought aboard, the artifact began draining power from the ship, causing it to be pulled toward Requiem. Sarah Palmer caused it to temporarily shut down by kicking it, allowing Glassman to examine it. Upon further examination the artifact reactivated pulling Dr. Glassman inside it, almost taking Captain Lasky with him.[2]
