Would the Mantis really be classified as a powered exoskeleton, given how it isn't actually "worn" by the occupant like a suit of armor but is, for all intents and purposes, a vehicle on legs? We haven't seen the cockpit or input method but it seems like it controls more like a traditional vehicle than, say, MJOLNIR armor which envelopes the wearer and enhances their movements. The shape of the Mantis wouldn't allow for the natural range of movement of the human body anyway. As far as ordinary conversation goes, I think it would be called a "mech", but I'm somewhat averse toward the use of that term. Armoured fighting vehicle seems more appropriate since it can cover mechanised walkers.— subtank 12:51, 3 October 2012 (EDT)
