			They are higher than SpecOps. And they do hold the right to bear Energy Swords. As scene on the level Floodgate where he has it as his secondary weapon. Also Majors have been scene leading SpecOps twice. Once in Quarantine Zone to lead the reinforcements described as Vadum's "Best troops." The second in Floodgate when he briefs the Arbiter.
