These warships replaced the aging {{Class|Halcyon|Cruiser}}s. These behemoths, ranking in at 1,192 meters (approx. 3,910 ft.), are over two times the length of a [[UNSC Frigate]]. They are also known for their heavy armor; they can survive multiple [[plasma torpedo|plasma]] impacts, being able to sustain far greater damage than any [[UNSC Frigate]] or [[UNSC Destroyer]]. *Most people seem to think the ~~Marathon has 3 MAC's, that however~~ is not ~~the case,~~ as ~~the marathon isn't large enough to mount 3 MAC's and there is not any visible "bumps" on the ship that would indicate more than one~~ MAC.

Its never stated but it could have three mac cannons or just one massive mac gun that makes short work of the covenant shields but this mac is still not anywhere near as powerful as super MAC round.
