This medal usually appears hand-in-hand with the [[Perfection Medal]], because it is required to get a Perfection Medal. It is available in all [[Multiplayer]] gametypes and has a [[Bungie]] difficulty rating of 8 (out of 10). This is represented by a silver 6-sided star with a purple target in the middle. When someone gets this medal the announcer will shout "Running Riot!" to the player that received this medal. In ''[[Halo 2]]'', this medal was called [[Rampage]].

The Running Riot medal (known as Rampage in Halo 2) is awarded for killing 15 opponents in a row without dying in multiplayer and Spartan Ops. In campaign and Firefight it is awarded for killing 30 enemies in a row without dying. In Halo: Spartan Assault and Halo: Spartan Strike the medal is awarded for killing ten enemies in a row without being hit.

The medal is represented by a silver 6-sided star with a purple target in the middle. In Spartan Assault and Spartan Strike it is represented by a stylized shield. When a player earns this medal, the announcer will shout "Running Riot!" to the player that received it.
