The United Nations Colonial Advisors were officials of the United Nations deployed in various colonies of the Sol system as advisers in local activities in the early years of human space colonization in the late 21st and early 22nd centuries. After the Friedens destroyed an embassy in the Europan city of Thynia, the United Nations labeled the faction as terrorists and sent Colonial Advisors to Io to aid in policing efforts throughout the Jovian moons.[1] However, Frieden forces attacked the Colonial Advisors on Io, leading to the three-month long conflict known as the Jovian Moons Campaign.[2][3]
