The 26 Draconis system is a planetary system that is controlled by the United Nations Space Command.[1]

Planetary system[edit]

History[edit]

Rise of humanity[edit]

In 2414, humanity colonized the 26 Draconis system, establishing a colony on Levosia.[2] This system was the site of the Callisto Incident which arguably marked the beginning of the Insurrection. In January, 2494 Insurrectionists captured the UNSC Callisto and murdered the crew.[3]

In response the UNSC dispatched a battle group of the three destroyers, which confronted the Callisto in the 26 Draconis system on March 2, 2494. The resulting clash led to the surrender of the Callisto, but at the cost of one destroyer annihilated and the two others severely damaged. It was future-Admiral Preston Cole's first combat experience.[1]
