The '''Bomber Form''' appears to have an abdomen similar to the head of a [[Flood Carrier Form]], and this is likely where they incubate their [[Infection Form]]s. It is also probably where they hold whatever keeps them in the air, probably a lighter-than-air gas, similar to [[Huragok]]. The front has a face-shaped appendage with two empty eye-holes. Because most [[Flood]] forms do not use eyes, but instead the sensory 'legs' on the end of the Infection Forms, to move around, it is likely this is a natural creature to the Shield World which has been taken over by the flood and turned into a floating carrier. It is likely it was a floating creature already. Although there are many rumors, it cannot be an infected Huragok as Huragok are artificially created. It has two arm-like tentacles coming from the sack on either side of the 'head', and many tentacle-like appendages coming from the 'mouth'. Or it might be a early pure form flood are like mold so they must evovlve quickly.

The bomber form is an airborne Flood carrier form created through the infection of an airborne pseudo-cephalodpod.[1] It attacks by dropping blisters full of pod infectors and spores onto enemies from above.[2][1] Numerous bomber forms were encountered during the Battle of Trove in February 2531.[2]

Its "head" is set at the front of a bulbous rear section that is used to incubate pod infectors and spores.[1][2]

History[edit]

Numerous bomber forms were created by the Flood during the outbreak on the Forerunner shield world of Trove. These were encountered by the crew of the UNSC Spirit of Fire during a battle between them and the Covenant led by the Prophet of Regret.[2]

Gameplay[edit]

In the mission Beachhead, bomber forms are spawned from both Flood dens and colonies.[2]

Trivia[edit]

The Pain Train skull on the level Beachhead requires the player to kill ten bomber forms.
