| [[Marine]]. He was present at the battle of [[Sigma Octanus IV]] and assumed tactical command on the ground when all but a handful of marines were killed by [[Covenant]] forces. Harland and his team had gone on a scouting mission when all but himself and three other marines ([[Private Cochran]], [[Private Fincher]], and [[Private Walker]]) were killed by the [[Fuel Rod Gun]] of a [[Hunter]]. The four fell back to their HQ, which had been destroyed by covenant. Finally, Harland and his marines were relieved by [[Spartan]] forces who landed to destroy the covenant. | |
