Vehicular Manslaughter is a spree medal awarded in Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach Multiplayer, Campaign and Firefight. In Halo: 3 and Halo 3: ODST it is awarded for killing ten opponents in a row with a splatter without dying. In Halo: Reach the medal does not require kills to be consecutive, just that the player kill ten enemies with a splatter without dying.
In Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST it is represented by a bronze five-pointed star with a green-rimmed tire in the center of the medal. In Halo: Reach it is represented by a bronze five-pointed star with the Splatter Kill medal symbol in the center, with a green blood splatter rather than red.
Trivia[edit]
- The design of the medal is very similar to the Wheelman from the Halo 3 Beta.
- This medal happens to be glitched in Halo 3, after splattering exactly ten opponents with a Karo'etba-pattern Ghost in a row, every kill made after that with the regular Ghost plasma guns on it will give you another Vehicular Manslaughter medal. This also applies with the Splatter Spree. It is also possible to use the plasma guns halfway in achieving this medal, but it won't reset the amount of splatters needed.
- The Vehicular Manslaughter medal is most often achieved with Ghosts and Warthogs (with either no gunner or no turret). This medal is hard to achieve when faced with intelligent or quick opponents.
- A Vehicular Manslaughter medal can be achieved by flinging objects fast enough to kill opponents (this can be done with Man Cannons or in Forge).
