The only known Oracle Master, [[Parala 'Ahrmonro]],<ref>[[Halo: Ghosts of Onyx]].</ref> is described as old, but fiercely intelligent. Beyond that, little else is known about the rank, or the Elite who holds it, other than that he collects intelligence.
 
It is possible that Oracle masters are supposed to ask Oracles like [[343 Guilty Spark]] questions and gather information from them. Take note that this is purely speculation and is not mentioned anywhere.

Oracle Master is a title in Sangheili society.[1] It is a title of public office, and as such grants is adherents the honourific suffix of "-ro" - such as in the case of Parala 'Ahrmonro, who once served as council to the Prophet of Regret and later, to the Imperial Admiral of the Joyous Exultation Covenant, Xytan 'Jar Wattinree.[2][1] The title may indicate that Oracle Masters were charged with dealing with Monitors or other Forerunner ancillae - known in Covenant lexicon as "oracles".
