Field Master appears to be an office/position, not an actual rank (much like how brigade commander is the office but Colonel or Brigadier General is the actual rank). [[User:Idolo|Idolo]] 01:50, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
It may be possible that, after the great schism, Zealot ranks can be distinguished by armour type. Field Master would lead assaults so might wear gold coloured assault armour etc. This is only an idea.-- [[User:Joshua 029|Joshua 029]] 19:37, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

  • On 15:44, 15 January 2007 (UTC) Esemono had some issues with this article, including, "User appears to be creating ranks that do not exist. Proof needed that this rank exists in the Covenant rank structure. That a rank exists in the UNSC IS NOT proof that it exists Covenant forces".
