In animal packs, the "Alpha" Male is the leader of the group. Brutes now have Brute packs. So it's either a Captain or a Chieftain. My vote is for Captain. -- [[User:Hunter-113|Hunter-113]] 21:00, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Its somewhat confusing as a pack is used to generally refer to a single group of maybe 3-6 brutes, which i can't imagine a chieftain leading. Maybe a group of 30 or more, but that would be more of a 'tribe' so the captain comment may be capain. However i don't see a captain commanding a ship, so Alpha may be more likely to refer to the one that is totally dominate, IE a ship captain or a chieftain. --[[User:Ajax 013|Ajax 013]] 21:07, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

My thought.[edit]
In animal packs, the "Alpha" Male is the leader of the group. Brutes now have Brute packs. So it's either a Captain or a Chieftain. My vote is for Captain. -- Hunter-113 21:00, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Its somewhat confusing as a pack is used to generally refer to a single group of maybe 3-6 brutes, which i can't imagine a chieftain leading. Maybe a group of 30 or more, but that would be more of a 'tribe' so the captain comment may be capain. Merge?[edit]
MERGE Contact Harvest confirms that Brute ships are led by the leader of the pack, who holds the rank of chieftain. So, Alpha Brute is the same thing as a Brute Chieftain. --EDFile:ArmyROTC.gif|15px]] 15:17, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
MERGE I agree with ED. I haven't read it, but I suspected they were the same thing for a while now. -- Lordofmonsterisland "Roar to me" 17:27, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
