The shelds recharge after a short time and make the sounds of the shields being depleteed and the shields recharging. They have to be managed carefully lest they be wiped out. They are armed with [[M7/Caseless Submachine Gun|SMG]]s, with the opportunity to be upgraded to [[AIE-486H Heavy Machine Gun|Chainguns]] and even [[Spartan Lasers]] <ref>''Gameporo'' #238 pp49</ref>. Also, as seen in the ''E3'' Demo, the Spartans are capable of hijacking and piloting enemy vehicles similar to its FPS counterpart but in much faster rate.
