Could someone get a screenshot of the Man Cannon that is in the Installation 04 Firefight map in Halo: Reach? I'd do it myself, except I'm still having some difficulties in Theater. But if someone who isn't having any difficulties with Theater could get on it, it would be much appreciated. --<span style="color:black; font-family: Halo3; font-weight:bold; font-size:110%">Xamikaze330,</span> <span style="color:grey; font-family:skia">Halopedia Team</span> <font color="Black">Talk</font> 17:43, 8 August 2014 (EDT)Xamikaze330

Anyone have anymore info on the Man Cannon?

In the bungie Update it was described as the Grav Lift on Ascension, one that fligs the player into the air...I can't find it now but I'm sure thats what it said. =/ --Simaster 02:26, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Seems that someone deleted everything I said, and put it in their own words.

The mancannon Can launch Vehicules and explosive crates that spawn near it like morter launcers, also apperantly with the new low-gravity MP option tanks and other things can be launced far, this is reffering to B.nets webmaster Achronos' "I still never got that wraith up there" quote "there" being the dam on the outside of the map, Vallhala.

Apparently you can snipe people out of them. In the Is Quisdam Protero Damno ViDoc, you see a red Spartan headshot a blue one in midair on the man-cannon. You can launch a warthog and a mongoose through them, and you can drop fusion cores into them too. Bloodletter 04:49, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Unless they crash and blow up, I don't understand why people would launch VEHICLES into the man cannon, while the opposing team can use them against them. It's like... "Here, take my Mongoose." After they launch it across the map, the other team can take it and say, "Thanks, I'll go run you over if I don't forget." --Blemo 03:40, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Edit something[edit]

Guys,I added some infos if you don't mind.

Okay...fine. you dont need to ask permission unless you arent 100% sure its right. And if you do ask, tell us what it is you want to say! and leave your user tag, with four tildes. like this: Spartan 107 21:07, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Official Name?[edit]

I thought I read in EGM's big Halo 3 preview that the Man Cannon was not the official name for the thing, that it was a codename or it hadn't been named yet. Has Man Cannon been confirmed to be the actual name? --Geoffron 15:53, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks[edit]

This article has given me some bright ideas for some of my crazy Forge creations. Can you say perpetual-motion-machine gameplay? E93 01:07, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Ascension[edit]

What about that one on Ascension? It is pretty much the same thing as a man cannon in halo 3.

Purpose?[edit]

What's the mancannon's purpose? It seems rather pointless for anything other then keeping people out. It's pointless as a mode of transport as there are teleporters. The gravity lift keeps objects in the air, which is useful, but the mancannon doesn't seem too have much purpose. Dreaddraco2 12:07, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
