Biography[edit]

Battle of Installation 04[edit]

Main article: Battle of Installation 04

When the Pillar of Autumn arrived at Installation 04 in 2552, Fitzgerald was able to successfully evacuate from the ship, and was eventually able to come into contact with D77-TC Pelican Echo 419. When Echo 419 responded to a distress signal from Fire Team Charlie, Fitzgerald accompanied John-117 in a Warthog to search for the other Bumblebee lifeboats. Fitzgerald introduced himself to the Chief enthusiastically.[1]

While in their search for surviving Marines and Navy personnel, he was wounded in the arm by a shot from a T-33 Needler. After that, John-117 ordered him to man his position and keep firing until he returned. He took cover behind the Warthog and waited until the Chief was able to treat his wound with Biofoam. He continued to man the M41 LAAG and survived the fight to return to Alpha Base with the Chief.[1] Fitzgerald's fate following this unknown, though he was presumably killed by the time of Installation 04's destruction on September 22, 2552 along with all other UNSC forces on the ring.

Trivia[edit]

In-game, Fitzgerald will not board Echo 419 in the end of the campaign level Halo, and will be left behind on the Warthog.
