Fall of Reach[edit]

During the invasion of Reach, a Covenant ship fired an energy projector beam at the Minotaur's aft end. The beam burned a ten-meter whide hole through the ship, piercing A deck, destroying the reactor, and exiting on H deck near the engines. The Minotaur was completely cut in half within seconds.[2][3]

Trivia[edit]

  • The Minotaur is likely named in reference to the mythological creature of the same name. The Minotaur was a half-man, half-bull creature that lived in the labyrinth beneath the palace of the king of Crete and devoured anyone who entered its lair.
