The Kaelum Workshop Attack Flyer is a modified and retrofitted Banshee ground-attack aircraft employed by the Banished during the conflict on Installation 07 in 2560.[1] Unlike its sister 'Ahtulai variant employed in the Second Ark Conflict, the Kaelum Workshop Banshee consists of a modified Is'belox-pattern.[2]
Overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
The Kaelum Workshop Banshee is optimized to increase armor and combat durability but also maintain the main chassis' performance. To accomplish this, Kaelum Workshop modified the standard Banshee with thick metal plates across the front of the cockpit and on its wings.[1] These plates enhance the core aerodynamic efficiency of the core Is'belox-pattern Banshee, with the sleeker profile and longtail design reducing drag to improve the overall top speed. This allows the Kaelum Workshop Banshee to work in the role of an interceptor when needed.[2]
The Banshee was designed by the eponymous Kaelum Workshop, and is manufactured by the Forge of Raansek.[2]
Armaments[edit]
Kaelum Workshop's Banshee is equipped much like the standard variation, with twin medium plasma cannons and a single fuel rod cannon.[2][3][4]
Service history[edit]
Battle for Zeta Halo[edit]

The Banished made use of this Banshee variant as they fought the United Nations Space Command for control of Installation 07 in 2560.[1] During the battle, Banshees worked in an interceptor role to battle against Installation 07's Sentinel defensive forces, and served to destroy human forces during the opening stages of the campaign.[2]
