- Main article: Human-Covenant War
In 2535, the plant responsible for manufacturing the Wolverine was destroyed by Insurrectionists on Mars.[Note 1]
Ushuaia Armory worked in partnership with Misriah Armory to create the YSS-1000 Sabre prototype to compete in the Emergency Defense Fighter initiative.[3] Following the end of the Human-Covenant War, they sold the production and design rights for their F-23 Falcata V/STOL jet to the Vestol Corporation.[5]
Trivia[edit]
Ushuaia is the capital city of Argentina's Tierra del Fuego province. It is considered the southernmost city in the world.
Notes[edit]
- ^ a b c In an interview with Gamespot, Halo Wars lead writer Graeme Devine claimed that the Martian factory responsible for producing the Wolverine was bombed by Insurrectionists in 2535, halting further production of the vehicle. No other source has reiterated or implied this story, rendering it potentially dubious.
- ^ Ushuaia may not have been solely responsible for the BDU's development, as Misriah Armory also manufactures the CH252 helmet. However, it is possible that Ushuaia developed the helmet, while Misriah is responsible for its manufacture.
