The Malabo Space Tether is a space elevator built on Earth, presumably at the eponymous city of Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. The tether survived the Battle for Earth in 2552 and was spared the disastrous fate of the Mombasa Tether and Centennial Orbital Elevator.[1]
