Biography[edit]

Battle of Mombasa[edit]

On October 20, 2552, Emerson's squad was joined by John-117 while in the Mtangwe Underpass. After evading a Covenant attack by escaping into a sewer tunnel, the Marines emerged near the Kilindini Park Cultural Center. In order to get to their command post near Beria Plaza, they proceeded to secure two intact Warthogs, with the Spartan, Palmer and Sullivan manning an M12G1 LAAV while the rest of the Marines, designated B Team,[2] commandeered an M831 Troop Transport with Emerson driving. They followed the other team, eventually making it to their destination, where Palmer ordered Emerson to drive the truck to the back of the building that served as the command post.[3]
