Main article: Silver Timeline

WHITE TOWER is a large facility and civilian contractor settlement. Protection of it was considered paramount, with UNSC Navy and UNSC Marine Corps forces stationed there to accomplish that task. Silver Team used it as a base for resupply and briefing for missions further out from Reach.[1] It was located within Reach City.[2]

During the Fall of Reach, the UNSC forces remaining on the planet coordinated their defense of Reach from the facility and used the upper hanger to evacuate civilian survivors. It was overrun by Covenant forces just as the last evac ship took off.[3] John-117, Riz-028, Dr. Catherine Halsey and Soren were rescued from the facility by Laera and Kwan Ha just before the city was glassed, escaping in Soren's ship with Vannak's body.[4]

Feeling guilty about not being present during the Fall of Reach, Kai-125 began repeatedly putting herself through a simulation of Reach's defense, specifically the battle occurring at WHITE TOWER. Later, while confronting Ackerson about leaving John for dead, Kai brought up the simulation of Reach's defense again as the backdrop of their confrontation.[5]
