The Invader harness' design orignates in Sangheili ceremonial armor.[2] The design features a bulky helmet and armor selection. The shoulder plates, helmet and back notably feature several carry handles. The armor appears to have a spine of some sort, possibly to help with powered enhancements.

The harness originated from Sangheili ceremonial armor equipped by hunting lodges. In recent history, Sangheili artisans on remote colonies have modernized the armor to use for hunting down Jiralhanae raiding packs.[2]
