The doarmir is a furry animal native to Sanghelios. Their pelts were used by early seafaring Sangheili to make thick cloaks to stay warm and dry on long voyages. This tradition continues into the modern Sangheili culture as a garment of shipmasters.[1] The hills of the state of Zolam on the continent of Qivro on Sanghelios was home to doarmir. D'ero 'S'bud hunted them along with maegophet in his youth.[2]

The cloak Thel 'Vadamee wore during the Battle of Installation 04[3] may have been made of this animal.
