Andrew Thivyanathan was a human de-glasser on Meridian in 2558. He discovered an unusual metal near Apogee Station that turned out to be a Guardian at rest and tried to open it. Matt Riley later informed him of Governor Sloan's anticipation of reaching the Guardian and the Governor's belief that Liang Dortmund would possibly offer them a bonus if something good was found.[1]
