"By Rukt's tusk, I shall murder them!"
— The Banished lieutenant, Voridus, swears by Rukt during the midst of battle.[3]

Rukt was a powerful Jiralhanae chieftain of the Rh'tol skein. Rukt eventually claimed the warhammer, and later namesake, Fist of Rukt from roaming bands of marauders. He initiated the First Immolation, a decade-long civil war that devastated Doisac and shattered the Jiralhanae's nascent rocket-based, interplanetary civilization. Throughout the war, Rukt and his descendants killed thousands of Jiralhanae with the Fist of Rukt as they battled opposing clans across Doisac.[1][2]

The Fist of Rukt remained a treasured heirloom in Rukt's clan, eventually being passed down to his descendants Maccabeus and Tartarus, the latter being the first Chieftain of the Jiralhanae.[1]
