The Halo app was a Microsoft Windows program that provided the latest news, videos, tutorials, featured community content and updated notes, as well as Halo games that were available on Windows, including Halo 5: Forge, Halo: Spartan Assault, Halo: Spartan Strike and Halo Wars 2. It was released as a part of the Halo 5: Forge bundle. The app could be downloaded on the Windows store.[1]
On August 15, 2019, it was announced by 343 Industries that the Halo app would be officially decommissioned, starting on August 16.[2]
