BXR is a medal in Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer. It is awarded for attacking an enemy with melee and then killing them with a single Battle Rifle burst.
The medal is named after the Halo 2 and Halo 3 Button combo "BXR", a popular way of rapidly killing enemies by taking down enemy shields with melee followed by a fire burst.
