Made by the digital design and communications agency AKQA, it was used to market Halo: Reach on September 12, 2010, before the release of the game. The advert was primarily inspired by the Multiplayer mode of Halo, where had the players earn medals though clicking on the masthead, with Jeff Steitzer reading out the medal names and actions the readers earned.
