| This war started when the [[Covenant Elite]]s started to notice that the High Prophets started showing favoritism to the Brutes. Like when a Brute killed an Elite the Hierarchs forgot it about it. The [[Covenant]] was split into two groups. The Loyalists which consisted of the [[Prophets]],[[Brutes]],[[Jackals]] and the [[Drones]]. The other group is called the Separitists. Consisting of the [[Covenant Elite]],[[Grunt]] and [[Hunters]]. This war may have caused an alliance between the Covenant Separitists and the [[UNSC]].
