Regarding the 'Shreddin piece found in CEA[edit]
I recently stumbled upon a myriad of unused classic music tracks in the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary files. Among these is an earlier version of Shredin' which was found in a folder called 'rr1'. What's interesting about this is that the track for Rock Anthem for Saving the World is stored in a folder called 'rr2'. Mind you, 'rr1' is not present in the original Halo XBOX or PC release.
Listening to it, it's built in accordance with any other level track; containing an 'in' piece, multiple 'loops' and 'alt loops' and an 'out' and 'alt out' piece. This leads me to believe that Shreddin' may have originally been intended to be, at the very least, a song heard in gameplay, or perhaps the original Rock Anthem track.
This here is the whole 'rr1' track, combined together.
