Set during the maturation of the alliance between the Sangheili (Elites) and the San 'Shyuum (Prophets), the episode focuses on the doubts of one warrior, Fal, about the true nature of the Covenant. Fal's skepticism about the Great Journey and the purpose of the alliance puts his exalted status and his family at risk. But his sense of honor prevents hum from blindly following the new world order.
