At the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con, MEGA Brands offered a special variant of the UNSC WARTHOG - 96805 that was signed by the Mega Bloks design team and contained a then-exclusive Active Camo Flame Marine figure[Note 1] as a bonus. These limited edition copies were individually numbered from 1 to 500 and were sold on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Twentieth Century FOX booth (# 4129). Other than the added figure, the physical sets were identical to the traditionally released set.[2]
