The Bunker Drop is a deployable ability available to Sergeant Johnson in the multiplayer of Halo Wars 2. Activating the ability will allow the player to deploy a UNSC bunker anywhere in their line of sight on the battlefield, from which they and their allies can garrison infantry for protection. Deploying the ability works in a similar manner to deploying ODSTs or orbital strikes, wherein the bunker will immediately drop into the battlefield and be ready for use.
Overview[edit]
The Bunker Drop is an air-droppable garrison building used by the UNSC. It is permanent, but does cost population capacity. It has enough fire points for squads, and has a built—in table for card games while the troops wait for enemies to wander by. The Reinforced Bunker upgrade increases its infantry capacity and adds a shield.[1]
Gameplay[edit]
Halo Wars 2[edit]
- Bunker Drop I - Unlocked at Tier 2
- Population cost:
- Supply cost: 350 (default)
- Power cost: N/A
- Cooldown: 90 seconds
- Bunker Drop II - Unlocked at Tier II
- Population cost: N/A
- Supply cost:450
- Power cost: N/A
- Cooldown: 90 seconds
Tips[edit]
- Placing a Sniper inside a bunker will allow the troops stationed within to spot cloaked units, thus allowing the bunker to defend itself from sneak attacks.
- Bunkers dropped before advancing to Bunker Drop II will not retroactively upgrade to support four garrisonable units.
