Oenotria was a mining city and colony unto itself on Mars. The militant movement known as the Koslovics originated here in the mid-22nd century. Oenotria was dominated at the time by corporations, and perceived financial exploitation of its miners by these corporations was instrumental in the genesis of the movement. The Koslovics were deemed terrorists by the United Nations after they violently took over three major mining facilities in Oenotria.[1]
Trivia[edit]
Oenotria may have been named after Oenotria, an ancient name for Southern Italy.
