Hello. I recently reported to 343I Grimbrother One what I thought was an error in the Waypoint's encyclopedia, and he replied with a Halo trivia about Pelicans. But I don't know how I could reference this in-article whithout being erased for possible fake content. I was wondering that, too. But the letters contained multiple questions and were asked to authors like Traviss or Van Lente, as far as i know. In the past, pasting the original message and the reply has been enough. But I agree with NightHammer, we should ideally be taking screenshots of these, to weed out potential problems of legitimacy, though of course some details may need to be blacked out to protect privacy. -- Qura 'Morhek ^{The Autocrat of Morheka} 19:04, 21 January 2015 (EST)

I can provide a screenshot as I already referenced this trivia to the french WikiHalo by this mean, but Waypoint's messaging system don't let you see both the original message and the reply on the same page. Should I upload two screenshot ? What level of detail should be conserved (I would at least leave my gamertag, as a mean to confirm the interlocutors) ? Yes, past practice has always been "User takes a screenshot and uploads it; the wiki users will then scrutinise the screenshot". If it's two separate screenshots, so be it. The screenshot must include some form of confirmation that it's from the source (i.e. 343 Industries staff) and that the message was delivered to a user (i.e. owner of the received message). This would avoid any potential disputes as to the originality of the screenshot. — subtank 04:51, 23 January 2015 (EST)

I suppose it's more or less what we already suspected. Same reason for which there are MA5Ds in FUD, MA5Cs in Halo Legends, or Storm harnesses in Halo 4's Prologue.
