Blur Studio was selected by Microsoft to produce the cinematics for Halo Wars,[2] including the trailers released during the game's development, the Scanned trailer,[3] the cinematics for Halo 2: Anniversary,[4] and the cinematics for Halo Wars 2,[5], including its announcement trailer,[6] the Know Your Enemy trailer,[5] and the Awakening the Nightmare cinematics.

For Blur Studio's series Secret Level produced with Amazon MGM Studios, creator Tim Miller and executive producer and supervising director Dave Wilson approached Microsoft for an episode featuring a crossover between Halo and Doom, but the pitch was turned down.[7]
