The outward visual difference in how 343i redesigned the cruiser is negligible (in Halo 4) so a light cruiser versus a CCS would only be distinguishable by its size. If the size can't be determined by relative references around it, a definitive call can't be made. The first pic you linked has what look like either a CCS or a CRS. What size is it? Can't tell from the still image but if the one immediately below the carrier is on our side of the carrier it's a CRS because it's too small to be a CCS at that distance from the carrier. If it's on the far side, it's a CCS. The second pic, it's hard to say also. It's coming through cloud cover with no comparison references to determine its size. The third pic I'd hazard are CCS battlecruisers. It's difficult in that it's based on a drawing, so everything is in focus. A distant cruiser behind the carrier should be blurry. That said, if the cruisers and carrier are that close, then CCS is almost assured. -[[User:ScaleMaster117|ScaleMaster117]] ([[User talk:ScaleMaster117|talk]]) 06:53, 19 September 2013 (EDT)

How do we know that's an image of an RCS Cruiser? I thought that was a CCS cruiser. Am I missing something? --MisterRandom2 (talk) 13:13, 18 September 2013 (EDT)

Definitely wish I had the guide to see, but if the RCS is what we thought the CCS was, then no CCS in Halo 4 at all :/ Sith-venator Wavingstrider Fett helmet.jpg (Commlink) 13:22, 18 September 2013 (EDT)
Actually, there are CCS-class battlecruisers in Halo 4, but the more prominent ones seen are the CRS-class light cruiser and RCS-class armored cruiser, which is the one that is seen being smashed apart by the UNSC Infinity ramming through its armored hull like paper in Spartan Ops. --Xamikaze330 [Transmission|Commencing] 13:34, 18 September 2013 (EDT)Xamikaze330
H4 SO S01E10 Palmer watching Covenant fleet.jpgSo are these CCS or RCS class? Obviously the little ones are CRS.Sith-venator Wavingstrider Fett helmet.jpg (Commlink) 13:39, 18 September 2013 (EDT)
How do we know that's an RCS cruiser the Infinity rams into? Until now, it's been assumed that was a CCS Cruiser. -- MisterRandom2 (talk) 13:41, 18 September 2013 (EDT)
(reset indent) Because the one in the infobox picture looks identical to the cruiser in the H4TEVG. As for the picture presented here, it looks more like a CCS than an RCS. But it's difficult to tell, since there isn't a lot of detail showing in the image. It could just as easily be an RCS as it could be a CCS. I'm not 100% certain about that. --Xamikaze330 [Transmission|Commencing] 13:48, 18 September 2013 (EDT)Xamikaze330
Do you have an image from the guide itself that can be put in the infobox? I don't have the H4TEVG myself (yet). -- MisterRandom2 (talk) 13:52, 18 September 2013 (EDT)

I'm soooo confused right now!!! -Master of Halo

That might be a problem. It sort of crosses over onto the next page. But I'll try, next chance I get. Just can't say when. I'm still working on a bunch of other things in relation to the guide. But I do agree another image is needed for a relatively clearer picture. --Xamikaze330 [Transmission|Commencing] 13:56, 18 September 2013 (EDT)Xamikaze330

There were no CCS-class cruisers in Halo 4 or Spartan Ops. The only two they had in the game are the 2,000m armored cruisers and the 300m light cruisers. If it was small and full of yellow-green lights, it's a light cruiser. If it's bristling with spines, tons of windows, and has additional hexagonal plates of 'armor' all over it, it's an RCS-class. There are minor differences between the CCS and RCS, notably the heavier armor and a slightly longer and wider superstructure. Unfortunately I'm behind on Spartan Assault not possessing a device capable of playing it. Hopefully it's on something more common soon. I don't care for the top-down play design of it (just as I disliked Halo Wars) but I'll still get it when I can make use of it.
