Forerunner in origin, a pistol of sorts?

I'm not entirely certain, but it seems that this Boltshot pistol-type weapon is Forerunner in origin, perhaps a directed-energy pistol of some sort, maybe the original Forerunner weapon from which the Plasma Pistol was reverse-engineered from. I mean, the design of the weapon is distinctly similar to other Forerunner weapons, like the Suppressor rifle-carbine weapon, the Lightrifle, and even the Scattershot weapon, despite the fact that neither the Suppressor (or the Boltshot) has no floating sights or anything. I could be wrong, but I suspect that this weapon must be Forerunner. I know it cannot be UNSC or Covenant, so I figure it must be Forerunner. I hope some more data comes out about the Lightrifle, the Suppressor and the Boltshot comes out soon, as I hate not knowing for sure. --Xamikaze330 17:28, 23 August 2012 (EDT)Xamikaze330

I at first thought this was related to this weapon, but closer examination shows it isn't as similar as I had thought. There is still a similar layout, but that doesn't mean similar mechanics. -- Specops306 Autocrat Qur'a 'Morhek 18:34, 23 August 2012 (EDT)
