Infinity is the name of the multiplayer component of Halo 4 consisting of War Games the competitive multiplayer and the episodic cooperative campaign, Spartan Ops.[1] It's a reference to the UNSC Infinity, an integral part of the campaign and the base of operations for the SPARTAN-IV supersoldiers, the "avatars" for Infinity multiplayer.
