::I may have some further information to provide, that would suggest that what we have here is canon. I can believe what you are talking about are the four barrels of what I believe are probably a heavy version of the Point-Defense Gun turret, one that features four barrels rather than two. If you looked closely enough at the ''Pillar of Autumn'' from ''Halo: Reach'', you'll notice that it most certainly does have only one MAC gun, but is also bristling with Point-Defense Gun turrets. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see two MAC guns.
