Template:Human Character Infobox Diego Esquival was a former Madrigal citizen and a retired Insurrectionist. He moved to the Rubble after his homeworld was glassed by the Covenant. After helping evacuate many people, including Maria Esquival and Ignatio Delgado, he became a member of The Rubble Security Council. He was part of the Exodus Project [1] and was also the brother of Maria Esquival. In 2535 he was mortally wounded by Peter Bonifacio after being shot through the chest. Shortly after his death, Jai-006 put him in a cryogenic chamber to preserve his body until he could be safely transported back to The Rubble.
