Recruiting

I'm thinking of creating a group that would study, improve, and work on pages, using extra information gathered form modding or other uses. If you have an idea, or wish to join, please add me as a friend or send me a message. By trying out new ideas, we could expose glitches, loopholes, and other things that would make HALOPEDIA eevenbetter than before. If you want to improve a great wiki, then join this group. Names, logistics, and rules can be worked out at a latter date. Please Join.

We actually used to have usergroups on Halopedia, but they were disbanded back in 2009.--Commander Halofan1234 (I say the cabal does not exist) 21:27, 5 December 2011 (EST)

I'm pretty new at this, so why were the usergroups disbanded? Are they allowed to be formed once disbanded?

I believe it was found that the usergroups were not as effective as they should've been. Some people mostly joined them just to be in a group with a theme they liked.--File:1221751884 I-animated-this-for-you.gifEnder the XenocideFile:1221751884 I-animated-this-for-you.gif 07:42, 6 December 2011 (EST)

So if the groups were more effective, wouldn't the usergroups not disband and do some good? I wouldent be the leader of course, but it could still work, couldn't it?

The original idea of the usergroup was to encourage editing. Each group, centred around a different Halo theme, would set goals for article improvement. Then the point system arrived, and as it turned out, the attraction of "ranking up" got a lot more people editing than the groups, so they closed.--The All-knowing Sith'ari 15:52, 6 December 2011 (EST)
