The Headshot medal is awarded for killing an enemy with a headshot. It is available in Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach Campaign, Multiplayer and Firefight. It is represented by a "targeted" purple skull in the middle of a gold six-sided star. This medal cannot be achieved with every weapon in the three games, but only with 'precision weapons'. In Halo: 3 ODST the medal is used in place of the Sniper Kill Medal.
