:Keep in mind there are still two novels about Bornstellar/The Didact to be released, both most likely before H4, and if you read The Didact's talk page, it's pretty clear that some Forerunners including him survived. Almost fore sure. He will most likely be the main enemy of the humans in the new trilogy. I wrote a better summary somewhere else, but I'm not gonna dig it up.
