While working for ONI, he served on the UNSC mining colony Reynes for multiple years. He lived in one of the mines on the glassed planet, where he operated the temporary listening station. He was entirely alone there, with the exception of an Unggoy that cleaned his base, and several Kig-Yar that he traded with.
In January 2553, he was relieved of his duties on the planet, and was picked up by the corvette UNSC Port Stanley. Soon after, he was transferred to the UNSC destroyer Monte Cassino and taken back to HIGHCOM Facility Bravo-6 for debriefing.
