:I think you're all a bit off. I'm pretty sure it's talking about a form of matter linked to biological consciousness but not in the physical realm. Not so much biological technology, just "sentient" technology that was nonliving but somehow built on physical principles that made it intelligent. At least that's the personal impression I got while reading anyway 85.20.103.185 10:35, 15 February 2011 (EST)
