Engineers were the lowest rate in Forerunner society, responsible for construction and maintenance of machinery, as well as stellar and planetary engineering. Stellar-class Engineers were referred to as "plasma jockeys" by Builders.[1] Unlike the other rates, Engineers were not represented in the Capital Court.[2]
