The M8 Automated Defense System, nicknamed the Wolf Spider, was an automated defense turret utilized by the UNSC. During the Fall of Reach, four Wolf Spiders were deployed around Dr. Catherine Halsey's lab in the Babd Catha Forerunner Complex.[1]

Overview

Wolf Spiders had to shut down to recharge energy after they became too damaged, requiring a manual reactivation after they finished recharging.
